Tired of being rejected by landlords just for being a foreigner...

I'm a student in Seoul and I'm currently looking for a new place, but I'm so exhausted

My current landlord in my share house has been meh—ignored my repair requests for a while until I pushed really hard
This time, I’m trying to find a place without any help from Korean friends, and it’s been a reality check

I feel like every time I find a decent room,
I get rejected the moment I speak
Either it's the language barrier or just straight-up No foreigners Also, the deposit prices are just... soul-crushing

Is this just the standard experience for us here? Does it ever get better? I’d love to hear how you guys managed to find a decent place and a landlord who actually communicates

Thanks for listening to my TED talk!
