Cramps after surgery?
I had my gallbladder out laparoscopically about six weeks ago after a single attack, but that attack was pretty extreme. About three weeks after surgery, I started, every day or two, having cramps that feel like my gallbladder attack, but only last about five minutes. These cramps are on the right under my rib cage going through to my back. They usually happen in the afternoon an hour or two after eating. Onset is sudden and the pain is at about an 8 or 9. I start sweating, and need to sit down. Once I was driving and needed to pull over. Five minutes later it’s gone. The only thing I can figure is that maybe I still have a gallstone stuck in the system somewhere. Anyone have a clue what this could be? I’m calling my doctor this morning, but am not keen on more medical stuff.
