I was praying id be a part of the 5% that didn’t experience a shed but today on day 16 I’m seeing more hairs in the shower and gaps appearing in the recipient area. I guess the earlier it starts the sooner it ends….just hoping the shedding is minimal!
day 12 and the scabs came off pretty easy but left with these scars underneath. no blood swelling or pain and doesn’t look infected but obviously still very worrying tbh. seems to be little hairs in the areas but nowhere near as many as the rest of the head. anyone had something similar? I’ve contacted my surgeon of course but some peace of mind would be great in the meantime.

I see a lot of posts about redness after the hair transplant but as black people we experience darker skin due to inflammation not redness so long does this typically last post hair transplant. is there anything you can do to improve this or is it just going to go away on its own?
