I'm trying to solve this circuit using nodal analysis, and I need to use the reference node (GND) shown in the image.
The problem is that when I set up the system of equations using the voltages of the 3 principal nodes (X,Y,Z), I get a system with no solution. According to ChatGPT, the error comes from assuming that resistors R5 and R4 are in series and carry the same current. I don't quite understand why this assumption is wrong. I might be misunderstanding how the reference node behaves in this specific configuration.
Node Definitions:
X: Voltage at the node connecting V1, V2, and R3.
Y: Voltage at the node connecting R1, R2, and R4.
Z: Voltage at the node connecting R2, R3, R5, and R6.
Any insights on what i'm doing wrong here would be greatly appreciated.
