Honestly, does it feel like a perfect storm incoming for SME owners right now?
Hey everyone, just wanted to hear some thoughts from fellow business owners here.
I’ve have a small setup for a short while, and I’ll be real — feels like a perfect storm is coming.
Inflation seems to be going up and up
Some products have limited pricing power since competition can be steep; Foreign players seem to be able to underprice and undercut with lower margins
Labour and rent are ridiculously expensive in Singapore
Customers are holding off on large orders with messy geopolitical
Is it just me or is it getting tougher for SMEs in Singapore? With higher oil prices, almost certain inflation will be higher in 2H26.
