Hello,

For the last nine months, I've been off Methimazole and my numbers are within the "normal" range. My doctors believe that I am in remission and will check my numbers once a year just to be sure.

But, I'm still experiencing rapid heart rate, increased anxiety, and weakness in my legs. My endocrinologist says that these symptoms must be caused by something other than Graves. But I really only noticed these when I was first diagnosed with Graves. Is it possible to be have normal numbers but to continue having symptoms? Or, is it likely that my symptoms are unrelated to my thyroid? What has your experience been?
