I'm not necessarily new to youtube, I have somewhere around 200 videos on my channel but barely any subs. I'm looking to change the way I record and edit, along with changing the type of content I make. I've noticed that I have no trouble being real and informal in front of the camera, but I have no idea how to NOT be informal. I want to go from lighthearted art content to something more like a video essay style and I'm having trouble with my tone. I seem to always go into informal, sarcasm. I find a lot of info on how to talk more confidently, or changing tone by imagining the viewer sitting there with me, but since I never have to talk in an informative way I have no idea how to start.

Sorry if this is a weird question, I don't know if I can explain it any better. Any ideas that aren't going to acting classes?

I'm drawing a background for my computer and I want to include as many nods to 90s cartoons as I can, from Blues Blues to Ren and Stimpy, anything goes. I have the mask from Courage the Cowardly Dog, the poster on DeeDee's bedroom door, Rocko's appendix in a jar, and a few others. I'd love to hear other ideas! The more obscure the better!

Edit: Finished pic in the comments :D
