Tips for fighting a traffic ticket in local circuit?
Got a ticket for speeding on westnedge the other day, and I just want to know if theres anything I should know before fighting it. Cop said I was going 55 on westnedge but admitted he didnt radar me. Pulled me over during commute hours on a saturday and only after my foot slipped off my clutch and my tires squealed, he said I "peeled out" of that stoplight. Genuinely couldn't have been speeding, westnedge has tons of traffic and I couldn't go that speed if I wanted to. And again, the second my tires squealed, he pulled me over across 2 lanes of traffic, i was going maybe 15 at the time he pulled me over.
This will be the first traffic ticket I have eber fought, so is there anything I should know before doing that? Like, specific days I should try to have the hearing so that the cop is less likely to show? Any help is appreciated, thanks!
