I do think after seeing Fox in the Mario movie we’ll get a new game in the franchise that’s a mix between the movie and realistic style. It’s nice to have Wild Blue Skies scratching that retro anime itch for the time being!

I’m just saying that at one point this was the plan and it would’ve helped this skin stand out more, aside from having new hair and clothes.
