I thought the battery died in my Tilt hydrometer because it suddenly stopped working during the fermentation. When I went to change the battery today, it was pressurized. The battery wasn’t dead at all. My theory is CO2 passed through the gasket, causing it to float flat on the surface and shut down.

I haven’t had this happen before, but this batch did become a little over pressurized. It’s working perfectly now in the current batch.

Anyone else experience this?
