Question/followup of Lens suddenly detached from Nikon Z5 II (24-120 f/4 S) after the lens detached again in a short time.

I was even briefly considering selling my Z5 II and upgrading to Nikon Z6 III, but it's too expensive for my hobby/family photography - I ruled that idea out. I also checked other (older) models with a similar price tag, but it seems that most of other FX bodies have a similarly flawed position of the lens release button - right at the edge of the camera.

So I'm seeking for help/advice:

Silicone skin:

Extra material over the button could protect it better (or maybe make it even worse). Not sure how extra material would work with Peak Design Standard/Dual plate. Not to mention it won't help with the camera's appearance.

Rig/cage:

Using a full cage, such as those from SmallRig, could add a bit of frame around the release button, protecting it from accidental presses. At the same time, using a whole cage just as a protector feels silly. The camera would become bulkier and heavier - and for me, without any other use.

L-bracket:

This seemed to be the best option, but even the SmallRig L-bracket still limits display tilt significantly.

Half cage:

I found only one “half cage” from JLWin - it’s not the most eye-catching thing and also feels a bit too big.

Leather case:

TP-Orig makes decently looking cases, but there’s no extra protection for the button - and the same concern about using a PD plate over case material applies.

Using stronger spring:

I’m not even sure whether this is possible, and it’s not something I would do myself - only if I could ask Nikon service to use a sturdier spring for the release button. Does it even make sense?

Any thoughts?

I found only one other mention of a similar issue here: z6ii lens release button: has it cost you a lens? - this doesn’t seem to be such a common issue, which is somewhat surprising to me.
