Unit loadout/size
Howdy guys, new to the cult and this has always been one of my longterm dream armies to collect, build and paint. My question today is mostly how people typically view to run their units. Currently I built a 20 man neophyte squad and a 10 man metamorph with handflamers. I picked up a 2nd combat patrol and just wanted some experienced players opinion in terms of when should I build min size units, mostly because of the cult icon.
I was planning on making 10 acolyte hybrids with auto pistols. My friend group is getting back into the game and when we played years and years ago it was almost always better to run max unit size, from what I see now thats not always the case?
I know new edition and detachments will change some, but as it stands now I was thinking either xenocreed or path of ascension? Any general advice for a newbie would be great, thanks!
