Hello all -
Intending to put Cachy on my '20 MBP T2. I've partitioned, created the install USB, turned off Secure Boot etc, can boot the ISO and it seems to run well, but am hung up on getting wifi to work. It works under MacOS, same hardware.
Have copied firmware to EFI, run the d/l script to copy it to /tmp. Went thru the wifi installation via terminal. lstopo now shows a PCI "Net wlan0" which it did not prior to running the terminal commands - so it seems to have worked, at least partially, but -
I'm not picking up any networks, not even the Starlink router sitting just 3' away.
Thoughts/help? TIA!
Edit: Hooked up my ethernet cable to router via USB-C IOGear dock (gigabit), wired connection is only showing 4.5m down on a 100m account; desktop system right next to MBP (running Mint) is getting 100m+ over wifi. I'm searching many other threads, seeing lots of connectivity/slow connection issues but very few if any specific to this model, and none are my issues in particular.
