A week ago my account by banned automatically for Hate but I believe it was a mistake and I appealed the ban hoping to clear it up. I explained what happened, why it was a mistake, and apologised etc, but my appeal didn't receive any response, it was just left hanging until the ban expired on its own.

In the future is there anything I can do to make sure this doesn't happen again and my appeal actually gets a look in?
