I have a 2022 Nissan Sentra and whenever I put my USB thumb drive with all my albums that I converted into mp3 files I get issues. Often the audio will have this crackling noise like the bass is boosted way up like in the YouTube video I linked (reddit would not let me upload the video for some reason). Sometimes the video will just cut off completely and stop playing anything. I know about the trick of holding down the stereo button for 20 seconds to reboot the infotainment system, but when I do it will have the same problems thus, have to try it 3-4 times until it works or I give up and drive in silence. Another weird thing is that this is somehow less likely to happen when I use my phone's Bluetooth with the car. However, on occasion the same issue will happen with Bluetooth, but the infotainment reset trick usually works when that happens. I read online that this might be an issue with the infotainment's software, but when I read the info on my infotainment system it says that it has the 550 version of the software which is what the forms + guides said to update to. How do I honestly fix this issue?
