Looking to do a second helmet setup and was curious if anyone had experience with the Nocturn Alpha Mount and how it compares to the G24. I know the G24 is pretty much the gold standard so I was wondering what advantages does this offer if any over the G24? Build quality, lock up, pros, cons etc etc. I appreciate any insight.
While deployed to (redacted) I found this interesting lock with a key way I think I’d only ever seen in a Lock Noob video. Had to have it so I bought it. While it would be much easier with my dimple flags, the Swick half diamond did the trick. Not familiar with the brand Vachette but I do believe they’re a higher security lock when they’re real. However I think this is just a cheap knock off. Anyone ever pick one? Definitely different but I enjoyed it.
I got in on the limited run Nocturn Industries Chimera with magnesium housings and decided why not. They’re a little heavy but not too bad when fully stowed. They’re a lot heavy when just flipped up. Pretty neat.
