A lot of people think Dubai company setup is just:
“Pay money → get license → start business.”

But after researching deeply, I realized the important part is actually choosing the correct structure.

For example:

  • some freezones are cheaper initially but may create banking issues later
  • mainland gives flexibility but costs can be higher
  • visa requirements change overall pricing a lot
  • some business activities need approvals people don’t expect

I also learned that many entrepreneurs focus only on the cheapest package instead of long-term scalability.

Honestly, Dubai still looks like one of the best places for international expansion from India, but proper planning seems extremely important.

Anyone here running a UAE business currently?
How has your experience been with:

  • banking
  • taxes
  • client acquisition
  • yearly renewals
  • compliance

Would genuinely like to know the ground reality.
