I’m specifically a particle physics PhD student at imperial college London, and I’m thinking of going into quant finance. Is this even an accepted discipline? I have plenty of python and c++ experience, along with ML and working with large datasets extracting signals, but my finance knowledge is limited at best. Cheers!
