I am new to mini PCs and I was wondering if I could get something "better" than the GMKtec M5 Ultra under ~300€, which I can buy for around 230€ (barebone, already own a 16GB DDR4 + 1TB PCIe3 kit for it).

The requirements are running Proxmox on with a HomeAssistant VM and few containers (UniFi, Frigate, Nextcloud and Tailscale).

So what I'm looking for is a CPU with around 8C/16T like the 7730U, but with a better video transcoder if possible, which I'd say is the weakest part in those Ryzens.

Low power draw (resulting in low noise) is a big plus.
