So I’m a dude who likes metal music and rocks the stereotypical long hair. I’ve had long hair for decades and so far it seems the only solution for putting it up that men are allowed to use without getting side eye are the little cloth covered rubber bands like the one in the picture.
They do, in fact, do the job, but they wear out super fast and I end up going through anywhere between 6-10 in a month depending on how often I take my hair down or if I’m doing some physical activity that loosens my hair.
Now while they are cheap and work ok, I am someone who will always pay a little more for a quality solution to a problem that will last years while everyone spends less for cheap solutions they have to regularly replace in months. So I wanted to know if this community knowes of any hair tie options for men that will last longer than a week or two? A BIFL solution would be wonderful but I would settle for something that lasts months to years rather than days to weeks.
