I have a 2005 Hyundai Accent, still blows cold, Just not “real cold”. The AC has never ever been serviced.

I’m wondering a couple things, Would you think just grabbing a Freon recharge can at Autozone and doing it myself actually work? A ~$40fix if it does. I have read that if I do this method, That it could f up my system and I would better off taking it to a professional.. in the long run…

Or is it safe to go with the Vavoline Oil Change Store, Where they said for $175, They will vacuum out the old and recharge it. They don’t guarantee anything.

Or should I just take it to an Auto AC repair place..

What’s your opinion? I’m thinking it’s just low… Is that a thing?
