My washing machine has packed in (it was here when I moved in - turns out it’s about 15 years old…) and I have a new one arriving tomorrow. Before they arrive, I have been asked to disconnect the old one. On doing so, I’ve seen the socket / plug for the first time, and I’m wondering if it’s dodgy. It’s hanging on a cable, not fixed anywhere. Is this an issue? And might it stop the engineers installing the new washing machine? I’m a bit worried. Hope someone can help, thank you!
Ps. Please excuse all the dirt I’ve never been in behind the machine before…
