Imagery vs Guidebook: What Matters to You?
I’m a writer who has been offered a chance to work with a multimedia artist on a 54-card oracle deck. The artist has already selected which of her artworks she wants to use and has established a title for each card (“Forgiveness,” “Release,” etc). I presume I’ll be writing everything else.
So: how important is the guidebook? Does that make or break a deck for you, or do you rely on your own interpretations?
Would you, as an oracle deck enthusiast, be bothered if a deck’s guidebook were written by some schmuck like me?
Thank you in advance for your thoughts!
