The proximity sensor of POCO X8 PRO MAX sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, when I answer the phone by holding it to my ear, the screen stays on and doesn't turn off!

I repeated the test many times, I tried restarting and turning off the POCO X8 PRO MAX nothing doing.
After 6 years since purchasing the REDMI NOTE 7 PRO, whose proximity sensor didn't work, NOTHING has changed.
Incredible... After years, the same exact problems!
My money isn't bad!
How about a global class action lawsuit?
For years, I used Oppo and Realme smartphones and never had ANY PROBLEMS with the proximity sensors.
Now, after having unfortunately bought another smartphone from the Xiaomi family, the POCO X8 PRO MAX is still having problems!
Now what should I do? Send my POCO X8 PRO MAX in for repairs and be left without my phone for weeks? If there's no physical proximity sensor, what do they replace it with?
NEVER AGAIN ANYTHING XIAOMI or POCO branded in my life!
NEVER MORE!
