Greetings

I'm 22 years old and got diagnosed with myocarditis about 12 days ago now, troponin at the hospital was 3800, stayed at the hospital for 3 days, during the time I was given 1,25mg bisoprolol and a med that protects my stomach.

I wore a holter the entire 3 days which detected no arrythmias and heart rate was good, current resting heart rate is around 60-75, walking 75-85 with bumps to 95 if I really stand up from the chair fast and go fast somewhere, but otherwise even if walking for more than a minute it balances at like 75-85. My sleeping heart rate averages 58 according to my apple watch

I had 3 echos all together in which all of them still showed good heart function, the last one before letting me go my ef was at 57%, the cardiologist was very satisfied with my echo.

I'm on 1,25mg bisoprolol daily now and that's that for the meds, I feel chest pain practically every day, but it decreases during the day, sometimes almost to the point of dissapearing and then it appears again, it's always better when laying down. It doesn't increase between sitting/walking.

I've walked like 2000 steps 4 days ago throught the day and never felt breathless or fatigued.

I'm not aware of feeling any palpations, maybe like one or two but might be due to anxiety since I am a very anxious person in general.

I sometimes feel like I have shorter breaths and that I have a bit of a harder time breathing but it always lasts like 30mins or more and dissapears.

The thing I'm really confused about is the meds, I've heard most of myocarditis diagnoses get perscribed colchicine or atleast another anti-inflammatory, I've gotten diagnosed a small dose beta blocker, I've talked to some other Europeans and way more of them also seemed to not get them perscribed as opposed to the US where it seems like standard practice, and browsing through the internet the chance of reoccurence seems way rarer if you take colchicine, it is an anti-inflammatory at the end of the day.

Also the symptoms, is it normal that they fluctuate so much through the day? Don't get me wrong I do have practically constant dull pain in my chest but even that moves from like a 2/10 to a 1/10 to like a 0.5/10 through the day, sometimes I get sharp pain but very rarely, the pain decreases when laying down, I wake up with very, very little chest pain, the pain is also 90% of the time centralized in like the upper left region of my chest, near the collarbone.

I also did get a go-ahead for short chill walks and have no restrictions with my diet which also seems odd.

And for information, this hospital is the largest hospital in my region here and just this past month and a half they've had 3 people with myocarditis, one was in the hospital for 14 days per my information so it's not like they just have no idea about myo and let each and everyone go after a few days, that's why it's even weirder why I was let go and given only a small beta blocker dose and that's that espacially as 3800 troponin seems very major no matter what.

Thanks, and I apologize for the wall of text.
