Long Shot: Trying to Return This Custom Rod to the Couch Family

Found this old custom rod among my grandfather’s fishing gear and hoping to reconnect it with the original family.

The inscription says:
“Custom Built For Sam J. Couch II by the Bent Rod Co., Sabre HW 75”

My grandpa was a doctor and fished a lot out of Long Beach, CA and somehow ended up with this rod over the years.

If anyone knows Sam J. Couch II or relatives of the Couch family, please send me a message. I’d love to try to return it to them.
