Did anyone stop by the Bitcoin conference in Las Vegas this past week?

I had a layover in Las Vegas last year druing the conference and walked through the convention hall a bit and people watched. It was interesting but I felt it was all a bit of a dog and pony show....wondering if anyone else developped different insights?
