I need help. I'm so worn down. I've had 2 mastiff mix since they were 10 weeks old. Everything's been great. All of a sudden one of them (who was the runt of the litter and I've heard runts are known for health issues) started going down hill out of no where. He was diagnosed with thyroid issues, sludgy gallbladder and gastroenteritis. I think he may have cushioning deseae but I'm having trouble getting help at the vet. I've spent $6k or more since November 2025.... a continued symptom is he suddenly starting peeing in the house. He's 92 lbs .. as you can imagine this is a large amount of urine. (His brother doesn't do this at all and doesn't act "old" as the vet says. They both acted like puppies up until the runt got sick suddenly). I cannot handle it. I've been cleaning up vomit and pee for almost 6 months. He slowed down a lot on throwing up thank God. But the pee issues persist. Mainly it seems to only happen if we leave the house. But the other day he peed in the kitchen when we were all home. We constantly try to let him out and half the time he doesn't want to go. I'm at my wits end. We got doggy pee pads and he won't use them. Just found his nice dog bed covered in pee. I'm so emotionally exhausted and drained. His other symptoms: pacing, won't lay down, circling, constantly panting, slowing way down, staring at a wall. He used to sun bathe outside all the time, he won't anymore just paces. Whines a lot and wants me to hold him/cuddle. It's breaking my heart. I've done everything I can do at the vet besides like an MRI or cat scan which costs $5k+ ... You'd think if he had cancer or tumors or something all the blood work would show something?? Idk ... I desperately need to find a good vet too. Anything is helpful. Thank you in advance.
