Hyundai requested I run the motor 1000 miles to see if it’s burning the oil. They performed maintenance on the engine first to see if it’s the issue. They want me to go back after 1000 miles again. After the maintenance they performed my engine light turned on. Took it in, one ignition coil failed. Asked why didn’t they change the other three, they said only one is bad. They replaced it, $687. Four days later, my car jerked again, light engine on, three coils are now bad. Cost $878. Is all this unnecessary costs if the engine will be replaced anyway? Is Hyundai ripping me off? They also asked me that the spark plugs need to be replaced. I told them you changed them last year!!! Any suggestions?
