Hi! I just finished my first year, and I'm planning to apply for a co-op. I looked at the uOttawa coop page to find information about co-op, but it only shows dates for Summer 2026, Fall 2026, and Winter 2027. I'm planning on applying in Summer 2027, and I have a few questions.

1. I have an 8.1 CGPA, is that competitive enough? What did you get in with/deferred with?
2. Have you done it before? Where did you get placed/what was your experience like?
3. For people who have done it over the summer, when did you have to start doing things (asking since I can't see the dates yet)?
4. How many references do I need?

Even if you have anything you want to say about co-op (health sci student, or not), feel free to talk about it! I honestly have no idea what to expect, so more information is always helpful and wanted
