Seven Survivors
I’ve got this idea for a screenplay. Seven Survivors. Seven Samurai adapted into a slasher film. Comedy horror but heavy on the carnage. Think John Wick meets Friday the 13th.
Setting is modern. Seven Survivors. All of whom have defeated their own franchise slasher one or more times have been recruited by a secret security force working for a billionaire who wants to avenge the death of his daughter at a camp at the hands of a killer named Memento Maury. Paranormal specialist believe that killing Maury will stop the power source that brings the killers back to life. In order to bring out Maury, they must actually embed the survivors as camp counselors. The survivors are tasked with getting the campers to safety while the billionaire’s security forces dispense of the threat. The threat ends up being more than they bargained for though and the security force ends up being neutralized. This leaves the seven survivors tasked with keeping themselves and the campers alive as they try to escape. To make matters worse, their own individual stalkers have made their way to the camp to finish what they started.
