Hey everyone,
I’m currently looking for a professional video editor with at least 2–4 years of experience who can handle high-energy, engaging content inspired by Ludwig’s style — but with originality. If your work feels too copy-paste or derivative, it’s probably not the right fit. I want someone who understands pacing, humor, and structure, while still bringing their own creative edge.
A bit about me: I’m a variety streamer who makes goofy, high-energy content. I joke with chat a lot, keep things light and interactive, and mix in challenge-style content here and there. The goal is content that feels fun, natural, and personality-driven.
My clips channel is Banditoislive on TikTok, and my Twitch is Banditoislive. Please check both before reaching out — I’m specifically looking for someone who understands BOTH short-form clips and long-form YouTube content.
Right now, my content is struggling a bit with retention and grabbing attention. The editor I was working with wasn’t consistently hitting that mark — either the hooks weren’t strong enough or the edits felt off. I’m looking for someone who understands how to capture attention immediately, keep viewers engaged, and improve overall retention across both short-form and long-form videos.
What I’m looking for:
- Strong experience editing YouTube content (2–4+ years minimum)
- Proven ability with BOTH short-form (TikTok/Shorts) and long-form content
- Deep understanding of fast-paced, personality-driven editing
- Strong sense of retention-focused editing (hooks, pacing, payoff)
- Ability to add humor, subtitles, zooms, sound effects, and timing in a way that enhances the content (not overloads it)
- Thumbnail bundle experience is a big bonus
- No AI editing — it’s noticeable and not what I’m looking for
- Someone who takes initiative and actively improves the content, not just follows instructions
Important:
You must send an example of your work that fits the style I’m looking for (both short-form and long-form preferred).
If you ask questions that are already answered in this post or clearly shown in my content, I will not move forward.
Pay:
- Open to negotiation depending on experience and quality
- Typical range: $80–$200 per video (can scale over time)
What makes this different:
I’m not just looking for someone to edit videos. I want to build a long-term working relationship.
I’m building something here, and I want someone who sees that and wants to grow alongside me. I’ll always own my content and channels, but I want this to feel like a team — where we both contribute ideas, improve together, and push the content further.
My goal is to get to a point where content fully supports me, and when that happens, I want to be able to support the people who helped me get there. I want my editor to win too — not just me — and to help them move closer to their own goals in life.
Why I need you:
Editing is currently taking time away from creating and streaming. I want to focus on making better, more consistent content, and I need someone reliable to take editing off my plate so we can scale properly.
If you’re someone who:
- Takes pride in your work
- Understands how to grab and keep attention
- Wants to grow alongside a creator
- Is looking for something more than random gigs
Then I’d love to talk.
Send me:
- Portfolio / past work (REQUIRED)
- A relevant example that matches the style I’m looking for (REQUIRED)
- Your rates / expectations
