First pic is original post 2 years ago, and I still have people asking me for instructions, so I thought I’d make a new post!

How to:

I bought double cap rivets at Hobby Lobby (sorry).

The inside of the rivet is inserted first through on the interior of the strap, then add superglue to the outside rivet, and insert from the exterior of the strap over the inside rivet.

FAQs Answered:

1. Yes it looks different from original, but no one can notice.

2. I used really strong gorilla glue.

3. I cannot feel a difference.

4. It takes a little bit longer to put on because the rivets are large compared to the hole. The strap is malleable enough to fit over the rivet cap.

5. No hammer was needed.

6. 2 years later and this still holds up.
