I think Eva will get a proper sub-dps and here's why
Heya, dear Eva mains. While we wait for our larper, let's think about her possible future for a bit. Have a bit of fun.
So, as we all know, Elation MC is kinda mid. Especially compared to what came before with Remembrance MC. But there's a part in their kit that makes me quite curious. Their talent.
Like it says, it basically makes it to where the damage of EMC's skill won't be gimped by Eva stealing half their Certified Banger and will instead take Eva's current Certified Banger into account. I know EMC's damage is less than peanuts compared to Eva's (Hell, fox teacher hits much harder than EMC lmfao) but my point isn't about EMC specifically. It's the mechanic itself.
I think EMC's future premium replacement could have this mechanic as well and maybe even be a proper sub dps for Eva while also supporting her through CB generation while not getting their own damage neutered during the process. I find the idea of that SOOOOOOOOOOOOO damn cool holy fuck man.
I think what happened with RMC is good evidence of this happening. (The way Evernight pretty much took the role of being the teamwide crit damage steroid half of RMC's kit was while Cyrene took the role of being the True Damage provider) I doubt they'd only give the mechanic to EMC just to never incorporate it into their premium replacement. Plus it's too cool to just let die with EMC...
Now my other piece of "evidence" of Eva getting a sub dps is more just me coping hard but there's also the fact that Eva has a vulnerability debuff in her kit and in her sig. (Yes, I know Silver Wolf has one too but we all know she has a sub dps for her) They could've easily made it another selfish buff like def ignore or something but they made it vuln. Something the entire team can take advantage of. It's weird to me that they'd give her this and NOT intend for her to have a teammate that does noticeable damage alongside her. It just doesn't make much sense.
Both the trace taking Eva's CB into account on top of her vuln boosts EMC's damage by a large margin, see?

I think this is something people should talk more about when it comes to her future. Heck, even without the future aspect, I think this mechanic is pretty damn cool and worth talking about in general. Maybe I'm just weird but I think it's really cool how a character that literally siphons her own teammates' resources can still help them contribute more in a fight and I'm glad Hoyo made her kit the way they did. She's genuinely the most fun DPS I've played in this game and I hope they let her shine even more in the future.
