Hi all,

Basically I’m working the last month of my notice period before I start my new role next month. The issue I’m currently being monitored by HR following a stage 1 sickness due to burnout (just completed a phased return). Part of my burnout is due to the travel required to work and within work as I do not drive, I have to rely on public transport. My commute is between 1.5-2 hours (I have to use multiples trains and buses etc) each way not to talk of travel when in the area. I’ve got supervision with my manager tomorrow and I’m thinking of letting her know straight that after this week, I’ll only be coming in 2 times a week. Part of my frustration and why I’m leaving is because other members of my team do not seem to be micromanaged/scrutinised when it comes to office days. It’s almost like they come in and go as much and as little as they want but with me, I was being micromanaged like crazy. I tried to request this formally before leaving through the correct process but let’s just say the way it was handled was extremely poor and I was rejected.

What do you all think? Is it worth stating this as the commute is killing me physically, mentally and financially.

Will most likely delete soon due to fear loool.
