Terrible officer / USCIS AOS interview!!! Help

Edit: The interviewer I suspect was a previous green card holder.

I am from the UK

I had my USCIS adjustment of status interview a few weeks ago and honestly it was one of the most stressful experiences I’ve had since coming to the U.S. Although I am from an European country and speak english quite well, I was already nervous going into the interview, but communication became extremely difficult because the interviewing officer seemed to struggle with English pronunciation and clarity. I had a very hard time understanding many of the questions being asked, and I constantly had to ask for repetition or clarification, which made the entire interview confusing and overwhelming.

What makes it more frustrating is that my case is very straightforward. I came on a K1 visa, we have a long genuine relationship, got married within the required 90 days, filed AOS properly, and brought extensive bona fide evidence and documentation. Despite that, I left the interview feeling like the communication barrier negatively affected his ability to understand what I was saying in plain english.

The officer also mentioned needing an I-693 medical even though I already had a DS-3025 from my K1 process, so now I’m anxiously waiting for updates and replaying the interview in my head.

The interview was in DC field office.

Has anyone else experienced major communication difficulties during their USCIS interview? Is there anything that can be done afterward if you genuinely feel the interview was negatively affected by language and communication barriers from the officer side?
