Golden pantry biscuits and soul!

Golden pantry biscuits and soul!

Are there any transplant’s here from Georgia

miss this? The hangover cure in Georgia starts with it. A chicken a cheese biscuit from the gas station, that gas station is Golden Pantry. They are cooked in lard and garnished with a salty butter. A crispy but fluffy buttermilk biscuit. I haven’t found anything close to it here.. I also haven’t found any real soul food. I don’t mean soul food cooked buy a kid that can kickflip. Im talking southern soul. Like you better say yes ma’am and no ma’am or you won’t get the extra free scoop of Mac and cheese with a wink. Like im not sure if this is a house or a restaurant.. like will I make it out of here full or will I make it out at all. A getto kitchen where you don’t ask the health inspector score, because the inspector doesn’t know about it. From one fat Georgia boy to the next where are the buttermilk biscuits and The real soul food restaurants here?

NWA rent

Hey yall,

I moved here from Georgia recently. My friend was already living here living in a fully furnished apartment. He was expecting to be here for another year but his employer ended up transferring him a few weeks ago. I was planning on staying with him for a while and finding a new place. Now I took over his lease and Im good until June. So im looking for a new place now because now my rent has doubled. Im paying 2,000 and that includes shity internet, water, and electric. I know it sounds like a good deal but, the lights flicker, it’s small, the second bedroom doesn’t have windows (not legally a bedroom), outdated and the HVAC is old. The back bedroom will be really hot in the winter while the front bedroom is cold because the windows are leaky. I spent the winter sweating my ass off and my roommate was frozen with a heated blanket. So to make this long story longer all of my personal furniture is back home in GA. So I need a place that is furnished or at least partially furnished. I can’t take the time off of work to fly to Georgia load my stuff up im a U-Haul and drive 12 hour back. So power of Reddit help me find a place. 34 year old male super cool i don’t stink and I use to do construction so I can fix anything! Thanks guys!!
