My fridge has been making some god awful racket on and off for the past couple of weeks now. First the fan in the freezer was rattling like crazy, then it stopped. Now I woke up to this racket this morning from the bottom part by the compressor. I tried cleaning it, taking it off and sticking it back on again but it still makes this noise. Is the motor going? Or just the fan needing to be replaced? What's weird is it'll be fine for a week at a time then suddenly starts making loud noises. Dunno if I should call a repair guy out or just say eff it and get a new one...
