I was on lexapro 20mg for about a year and a half, tried to switch over to vilazydone for a bit to see if it would help me feel better. Ended up feeling the worst ive ever felt in my life. So i cried to to doctor to take me off the pills all together.....she weened me off a 2 week period...christmas 2025 was the last dose i took. Now at first i wasnt feeling any symptoms....until about mid january full blown insomnia started. Followed by insane amounts of anxiety/fight or flight, dread that could last all day or hours at a time. Im on month 4 of being off and i still havent managed my insomnia which makes sense why my anxiety is still just as bad.....ive heard this can take months to years to repair....
