I been using a Rucker 4.0 20l for rucking, but recently was given a GR1 26L that I would like to use for rucking. I think it feels better with my height(6ft).

What’s the preferred way of carrying the plates? I have just been putting my 30# or 45# in the laptop compartment and it seems fine. Is it worth it to upgrade it the shaddox pocket to make it similar to the Rucker?

The straps are what currently feel uncomfortable because I’m not used to the 1000D. I think it needs some break in time.
