Use Facebook group to split bulk items among neighbors

I wanted to feed the family ribeyes for mother's Day. I noticed the full cuts of ribeye were $9 less per pound than the cut steaks. Posted a picture on my local Facebook group explaining I'd like to split it with someone and would weigh it, do the math, and drop it off. About a half dozen people were willing.

Allowing me to buy at bulk prices and only needing 10 lb.

Obviously this is not as frugal as other posts here, but if you're going to spend the money you may as well spend it wisely.
