So I have a 2018 3.6 Premium Luxury CTS with 62000 miles on it. Two years ago the rear differential needed to be replaced under warranty but apart from that it has only needed routine service. However, since this past January both the thermostat and a leaking pinion seal needed to be replaced, and there is a small leak in the transmission pan that will need fixing in the next few months (per the dealership). The DIC screen is delaminating a little but still functions. I also just had to replace one of the headlamps and I just ordered new tires. I live in the SF Bay Area so labor costs are hefty and I have put $5,500 into repairs and some ongoing maintenance (alignment, oil change) since the turn of the year.
Obviously some of these items are normal wear and tear but some of these repairs seem premature and unexpected for a vehicle that has been well maintained and only has 62K miles. I would like to know if my car is failing faster than it should of if this is just to be expected given it's age. Please let me know your thoughts.
