I have female Italian that has a bend in her neck and I’m wondering if it is a birth defect or an incorrectly healed injury? I didn’t notice it until she was a few weeks old so I don’t know if it’s a birth defect or an injury or due to temp fluctuations in the incubator.

She seems to be healthy, doesn’t affect her eating, lays prolifically, and gets along with the other quail.

Does anyone have a prior experience with something like this? I currently have her separate from my breeding flock in fears of it being a genetic issue. What do you guys think?
