Ammonia burns on goldfish
About 2 months ago I had an ammonia outbreak after over cleaning my canister filter. I got rid of the ammonia spike and my parameters have been perfect since. Nitrites and ammonia are zero. Nitrate at 20ppm. I have 4 fancy goldfish in a 60 gallon breeder tank. With an EHEIM classic canister filter.
two of my fish still have some ammonia burns, or red spots on there fins. I’m wondering why if my parameters are back to normal again. I’ve kept up with regular and more frequent water changes to see if it would help but they won’t go away. No other symptoms besides the marks though. Any advice?
