14900kf RIP Sadness
I thought I lucked out and avoided the micro code issues, but sadly my CPU gave all that it could for as long as it could. Had to submit a warranty request today. Windows still runs relatively fine, but can’t play any CPU intensive games at all without crashing or use a chromium browser. After multiple MemTest86 passes, Cinebench stress test and countless hours trying to avoid an RMA I have finally gave in. The CPU has been my daily driver for work and gaming since its release. This will also be my first PC part to ever need a warranty replacement. I am thankful it last as long as it did.
Has anyone else had to RMA their 14th gen? If so how the process go?
