I live in a bad area in a city and my family is barely scraping by these days. Me and my brother are both in university and i go to community college for now since it's all i can afford. My parents pay for my brother but it's only possible through tuition reimbursement. My brother has had a great start to college but had some difficult classes this semester which caused his gpa to go below the required threshold to receive the reimbursement. If we don't get that he might not be able to attend anymore. I want to help but i can barely afford my tuition with the job in working. He works as well but it's not nearly enough for tuition and my parents are drowning in bills. We are looking for scholarships and contacting the school but haven't had luck. I just wanted to see were there any other suggestions. I know alot of people go through this and i hate to see him so defeated everyday! It's hard enough we barely have any support outside of the little our parents can do which we appreciate a lot. I just feel like he's suffering in silence since this is his first mistake with college so far.
