Do i have hope
I recently purchased a carbon bike from Facebook Marketplace. It looked good initially, but I noticed the rear wheel stops spinning almost immediately when pedaled by hand. After inspecting it, I found that the brake pad is constantly touching the right side of the rim. I tried to adjust it, but I discovered that the mounting points (the brake bridges) where the brakes attach to the frame have cracks on both the front and the rear. Is there any way to structurally repair this, or is the frame unsafe to ride? I’m looking for a cost-effective solution as I cannot afford a replacement bike at the moment.
