My family has an indoor cat who loves being outdoors. Every morning someone holds him in their arms and takes him outside for 10-15 minutes. He gets sad when he has to go back inside and meows a lot.
We want to try taking him on walks so that he can have more outdoor time, but he hates wearing a harness. Unfortunately, the main way he can have more outside time is if he can wear the harness so we can walk him. We live on a main road, so it’s too dangerous to let him roam outside by himself, plus he’s really scared of strangers.
Is there any way we can bribe him into liking the harness? We haven’t even tried to leash him since he hates wearing just the harness.
