Should Kaalashtami fast be observed based on tithi timing or the date mentioned in the Panchang?
I’m trying to observe Kaalashtami vrat properly, so should it be kept strictly according to Ashtami tithi timings, or as per the Panchang date (when it begins), with fast ending next morning? What do shastras recommend?
