I have heard of lego club meet ups IRL but don't know of any in my community. Does anyone know if there is such a thing in Cape Town. Asking for my 6 year old who is really amazingly creative with Lego. When he gets a new set he makes it once and then breaks it up and absorbs into "Lego city" - a sprawling metropolis that currently takes up one third of our living room. He has built table mountain and a cable car, shops and restaurants, waterfront properties. He has been building it since he was 5. He spends all day tinkering with it. But my husband and I just don't have this building gene he has so we struggle to challenge him. When his friends come over they aren't interested in it either. He loves the Lego YouTubers and copies what they do. He loves Minecraft too and builds very intricate cities. How can he meet like minded Lego heads that go beyond just building the sets? We are in Bergvliet FYI.
